Gwyneth and I took Diane & Rob to the airport this morning and were very sad to see them go. We had a great visit and look forward to seeing them again early next year.

Miss Annabelle went to daycare for the day while B worked, so Diane, Rob, Gwyneth and I headed up to Nederlands for lunch. It’s a tiny little town but we found a great cafe, called the Savory Cafe. It had so much character and we had a delicious lunch. The drive from Boulder to the Nederlands is gorgeous!

How we managed to keep busy: - Friday we picked Lauren up from school because Noelia was on a field trip with Austin’s class. We went to Build-A-Bear at Flatirons and Lauren stuffed animals for herself, Annabelle and Gwyneth. She’s such a good kid and was very helpful with the girls!
- Sarah stayed over Friday night to help me with the girls. Miss Annabelle had a fever and was out of sorts most of the night. We went for lunch at Pasquinis on Saturday and neither of the girls really seemed to want to be there. Hmmm…it doesn’t seem like we can catch a break this weekend!
- Saturday evening, Grandma and Grandpa Meyer came over to visit with the girls. We went to the park and then ordered Chinese food. Annabelle was still running a fever and was up all through the night! No rest for the wicked, it seems.
- Sunday morning Mary Ann came over to visit with us and since Annabelle was still not feeling well, she slept on me for about 3 hours. Mary Ann was able to hold Gwyneth and help me with feedings. Unfortunately we had to miss Jocelyn’s birthday party that evening because Annabelle was still running a fever.

Zoo day for the Girls & Visiting Zach
The girls and I went with Noelia and Lauren for lunch and to the zoo. Annabelle has so much fun with Lauren. They rode in the wagon together, checked out the animals, and Annabelle thought it was so funny when Lauren tickled her. GG slept through the entire adventure.

Thanks for the soup!
Sarah made a big pot of soup and had lots of leftovers so she decided to share with us. It was very tasty – chicken and rice with lots of veggies. It was delicious and good for those of us trying to lose the rest of this pesky baby weight! She also made homemade rolls and brought homemade jam from her mom.
Thanks for sharing with us, Sarah!!
