Wacky, wet, and wild Wednesday indeed! It was a busy, busy day and it was jam packed with fun.
- In the morning I volunteered at the girls’ fall festival at school. It was wonderful to see them play with their little friends. We made pigs in a blanket, decorated sugar cookies, stuffed a scarecrow, shucked corn, and rolled pumpkins. Annabelle was quite the little performer and Gwyneth stayed close. They both had a great time and I got lots and lots of big hugs when I left.
- It was our first snow day!! We had a dusting before, but this was the first big snow fall of the season. The girls begged to come home and play in the snow. Gwyneth shoveled while Annabelle made snow angels!
- Annabelle was able to wear her Halloween costume to dance class tonight. She loves her spider queen get-up and was excited that Grandpa was taking her to dance class.
- After dance class the girls had a slumber party at Grandpa and Grandma Meyer’s. This was their very first sleepover and from the candy wrappers I found in the car I believe they were quite spoiled.
- B and I had a date night and went to see Paul Simon at the 1st Bank Center. Sadly the first hour of the show was rather slow. He played lots of new songs and they all sounded the same. He did two encores and they were fabulous! He played so many of his greatest hits. We had such a fun time and can add this to our long growing list of great concerts we’ve attended. Good stuff!
