It is ugly here in Colorado. Lots of rain, too wet to play outside, and an unexpected late snowfall – where the heck is Spring? It’s mid-May!
When it’s too cold to be outside what better way to spend the evening than at Little Monkey Business with friends? The Tyler and Fessler boys and mommas joined us for dinner and play time. Rob had an appointment and Lanse was not feeling well so B played ‘dad’ for all the kids. He even managed to climb all the way up the gymnasium and send a very mad Rhys down the slide so Sheila could leave. Oh boy, was Rhys mad at him! I’m certain he’ll forgive by the next time we meet up (forgive – maybe, forget – doubtful! ha!). The girls ate lots of pizza, played hard, and wore themselves out.
Annabelle loves this silly computer game. She really got the hang of tracing the letters on there.
My little maniac. It’s not enough to go down the big-girl slide, Gwyneth has to go on her belly for the big thrills!
My little show-off! Gwyneth would fly down this slide and go shooting off the end with a big ol’ smile on her face. She was most happy when she had an audience. Sheila and Melissa pointed out that Gwyneth is my “mini-me”. They noted this while she was showing off, but I’m still taking it as a compliment because she’s so darn cute and funny.
Annabelle getting tangled up in the parachute with Wyatt.
Miss Sheila saved us from meltdowns by providing yogurts for the kids to enjoy before we all had to head home. They all hugged and said their good byes with big promises to meet up again soon. It’s so great to see our kids turning into such good buds because I really do love my time with these ladies (and the dad’s too!)
