It was a pretty wild weekend and we are starting to feel the effects of the end of the school year. It feels like we’re running out of time and running everywhere. I look forward to the summer when I get my girls to myself (most days) and we don’t have such structured schedules…wait, did I just write that? I love schedules. I must be really tired.
The girls took an emoji painting class Saturday morning. Annabelle loves emojis and Gwyneth loves to paint so it seemed to work out well for both of them. They also took $5 of their allowance to buy snacks and happily shared a bunch of junk food. The day was a hit!
We baked cupcakes for Mr. Lance’s birthday. We haven’t baked together in far too long. This is one of my favorite things.
We made three different kinds of cupcakes to take with us to the Tyler’s house that night. We went to celebrate Mr Lanse’s birthday. The girls were happy to play with friends (old and new). Unfortunately B had two birthdays at the Kitchen that day so he was exhausted. We didn’t stay and play as long as we would have liked, but it was still so great to see the Tyler’s.
Sunday was more partying and more classes for B. He hosted a baking experience at Blue Mountain Kitchen as a fundraiser for the girls’ school. It was auctioned off and a few of the girls in Gwyneth’s class won. She was pretty excited they invited her along to join the fun.
