I’ve been working extremely hard to improve the reviews for my business. The prior owner was known as quite the curmudgeon (rightfully so!) and she was at all a fan of children. 

Since taking over I have relied heavily on our lovely daughters and their word of mouth. They share the love of our businesses to everyone and they really do enjoy being their themselves. My birthday party bookings have nearly doubled thanks to the improved atmosphere and my summer calendar is filling up with school outings/field trips. 

One event I was determined to grow was my Kids Night Out event. We never had more than 1 or 2 sign ups. I wanted to fill the place with kiddos painting, laughing and having fun. Our first event was last month and had a Beauty and the Beast theme. The girls had several friends join them and it was hit. 

This month we hosted a Smurf theme. We had many kiddos sign up – not just the girls’ friends this time! In addition to pizza, painting and fun we had an amazing visit from SMURFS! Sony pictures sent over Smurfette, Clumsy and Brainy Smurf. They hung out on the patio for the first half hour and attracted a lot of attention. We even had a few drop-ins for Kids Night Out which has never happened before. 

I couldn’t be more excited to see these events taking off! Keeping my fingers crossed it continues to grow.
