I don’t ever expect things to be fair between my kids, but since I had such a lovely one on one day with Annabelle this week I really wanted to try and do the same for Gwyneth. She requested lunch with the mermaids, so after lots of embroidery deliveries for work, we headed to lunch for the mermaid show. She was thrilled. She was so sweet and in awe of the mermaids.

 

She is also an amazing eater and I should know never to order off the kids menu for her. She devoured a bowl of clam chowder and a plate of grilled fish – no chicken nuggets and corn dogs for this girl. I asked her if she wanted to be a chef someday like her daddy and she said “no. I don’t want to cook it. I want to eat it!”. That a girl! Perhaps food critic instead? She has quite the little palette for a four year old! (This could be trouble in those poor college years….)
